Great points to think about when planning your next trip. 1.Travel influencers proclaim that you can see the world for free. Not true! Credit card bills eventually become due, so watch out! You will be stuck paying the bills. 2. The influencers build things up so much that the trip sounds too good to be true. Take their build-up with a grain of salt. Look for promotional hashtags /sponsors in videos but always be aware of their promo pitch which might not be totally truthful. 3. No one uses every travel hack. Influencers stretch the truth. 4.Hidden gems or out of the way places do not exist anymore. Most places are crowded and expensive. 5.Travel influencer embellishments-The best food, hotel of places to see. There are good and bad points to everything. The all or nothing approach can be disappointing. 6. Take the time to travel but keep your full time job. You need to do both so enjoy your travel experience. My thanks to Wolters World for sharing.
