These are all overhyped, crowded, expensive and potentially dangerous places. The water is dirty and littered with trash and potential toxic waste. My advice is to plan wisely and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. The parking and lines for food or anything else is a potential nightmare. Please search out of the way or off the beaten path U.S. or Texas beaches that are well worth the time and expense. Just FYI and buyer beware!! The only Texas beach listed is Galveston. I agree with them. The water is dirty and the jellyfish are plentiful. Not a safe beach either. My thanks to Total Traveler for sharing.
