This being the Christmas season, I thought I would share some our state’s best holiday destinations for things to see and do. The Riverwalk Wonderland is basically the Riverwalk tour with Christmas lights. The tour lasts about 30 minutes from 10AM to 7PM daily from after Thanksgiving until January 2nd. There are 3 entry points to boats so get there early if you want to see the lights at night. The mall entrance is the busiest. During the week is less crowded, try to go before schools let out for the holidays. There are also tons of shops, restaurants and motels on the Riverwalk. There is also a neat art projection on Texas historical events called The San Fernando Cathedral Light Show on a 7,000 foot projection screen. Its 24 minutes long. You can book the riverwalk tour in advance which should save time. As always, allow for delays and take enough forms of payment. My thanks to Mr.S Travel Quest for sharing.
